Steve Munday

Fort Worth, TX

Mr. Deen was one of the first leaders at the Texas Cattle Feeders Association that I met back in 1974. He was solid as a rock and, unlike a rock, he was very, very smart and astute. He will be missed. His contributions to our industry live on.

We have so many great memories of times with Glenn and our Dad, Jumbo Stewart. They made a great team in the cattle business in the 70s. Jay really enjoyed working for them while attending college and learned so much. We both have a great fondness for Glenn and are thinking of his family at this sad time.

Glen was a good friend to my family and especially to my Dad. Glen and Colleen lived across the street as neighbors and we always enjoyed their friendship for many years. Whether it was playing golf or talking cattle, Glen was fun and well versed in feeding cattle. I especailly remember him throwing out brand new golf balls when I was having a hard time teeing off across a water hole. He threw out a half dozen balls before I got it over. He grinned the whole time. Im glad I knew him and send our thoughts with his family.

With all my heart, may moments of time shared, the love each of you hold in your hearts, and the special moments and memories you shared with your father, brother, best friend, and business partner live on in your lives, and bring you peace. He was an incredibly great man. My love to you all... Lynne

My thoughts and prayers are with the Deen Family. I did not have the privilage of knowing Mr. Deen personally but I am friends with his daughter Peggy whom has told me countless stories about her father. Her love for him had no limit. She will miss him greatly as I am sure all of his family and friends will. I know he was an amazing man, father. God bless you all.
