Pedro M. Saenz, 91, of Dumas, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017. The rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors.

Pedro was born January 18, 1926 in Pearsall Texas to Andres and Jesusita (Medina) Saenz. He married Juana Trejo in 1983 in Dumas. Pedro had been a resident of Dumas for fifty years and was known to be a very hard worker on the farm. He was also very devoted to his family, he was proud to have raised two generations. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Pedro was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Juana, of the home; children: Armando Saenz and wife Alvina of Amarillo, Minnie Valenzuela and husband Ralph of Amarillo, David Saenz and wife Mary Jane of San Antonio, Delma Wheeler and husband Ron of Ft. Worth, Sylvia Saenz of Waco, Lisa Thompasionas of Waco, Karina Mendez and husband Jason of Dumas, Neyra Garland and husband Allen of Dumas, Esmeralda Gonzalez and husband Miguel of San Antonio; brothers: Rueben Saenz and wife Yolanda of Dumas, Robert Saenz of Pearsall; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and great great great grandchildren.
