Bill Lee, 47, passed away Saturday, July 3, 2010 in Lubbock. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, July 8, in Church of Christ of Sunray with John Henley, minister of the Church of Christ, Hereford ,and Jonathan Zerby minister of the Church of Christ, Sunray, officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 CDT, at Kenton Cemetery, Kenton, Oklahoma. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Bill was born April 16, 1963 in Satanta, Kansas to Clarence and Clara Ellen Lee. On January 7, 1984 he married Kimberly Hickenbottom in Durant, Oklahoma. He was employed in operations and maintenance for Northern Natural Gas. He was a member of Kansas Hunter Education Assn, a board member of Black Mesa Bible Camp, a former deacon with the Church of Christ of Hugoton, KS, member of the Moore County branch of Hochheim Prairie Farm Mutual, and a mentor for the Clements Unit of Tx. Dept. of Criminal Justice in Amarillo. Bill had been a resident of Hugoton, KS. 16 years before moving to Sunray 3 years ago. He was an active member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include; his wife, Kimberly of Sunray; sons, Daniel Lee and wife Jessica of Lubbock and Jesse Lee of Sunray; daughter, Katrisha Tomberlin and husband Chris of Lubbock; his mother, Clara Lee of Hugoton, KS; brothers, Jimmy Lee and wife Kathy of Geraldine, MT, Tommy Lee and wife, Carol of Beaver, OK, Johnny Lee and wife Kristi of Ashland, KS; Danny Lee and wife, Tammy of Cumming, GA; sisters, Y-Vonna Kreckel and husband Dave of Atlanta, GA, Donalda Eveleigh and husband, John of Ulysses, KS; aunt, Wilma Moore and husband Lawrence of Liberal, KS; uncles, John Duncan of Liberal, KS, Robert Duncan and wife, Margaret of Lakin, KS and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests memorial be to Black Mesa Bible Camp, Attn: John Henley, 135 Kingwood, Hereford, TX. 79045.
The family will be at 1007 Ave. R in Sunray.
