Annita Spivey

Annita Spivey, 58 of Dumas, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021. Memorial services are scheduled for 11 o’clock in the morning on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with her son in law, Eddy Riggins officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Annita was born on May 12, 1963 in Gruver, TX to Thomas and Eunice Spivey. She graduated from Gruver High School and later attended Oklahoma Panhandle State University. Annita worked at JBS and Seaboard but her favorite job was that of a grandmother. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and enjoyed attending all their activities. Annita had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered for her favorite saying “Hootie Hoo”.Annita was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda Spivey.She is survived by LeAnn Brown of the home; Jayme Riggins and husband Eddy of Dumas, TX, Kaytee Brown and Dee Jay Anderson of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Shayla, Ryan, Jayden, Kayson, Brantley, Ryker; SuZann Steen and husband Kerry of Stinnett, TX and MariAnn Vasquez and husband Fred of McLean, TX; numerous other extended family members.
