Officer Iram Avila

Officer Iram Eliseo Avila, 29 of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Hazelwood and Pastor Jesus Rivera officiating. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.Iram was born on December 3, 1991 in Pampa, TX to Raul and Paula (Carbajal) Avila. After graduating high school, he went on to attend the Police Academy and was presently employed with the Dumas Police Department. Iram loved spending time with his children, taking them to Cinergy and playing on the trampoline. He also loved his mom’s cooking. In his spare time, he enjoyed practice shooting. Iram was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista and will truly be missed and loved by his family and all who knew him.He was preceded in death by his daughter: Iliana Avila.Iram is survived by his parents, Raul and Paula Avila of Dumas; children: Dante Avila and Serenity Avila both of Dumas; brothers: Isai and Roy Avila both of Dumas.
