I love Paulette so much. She was like a sister to me. I have known her for 33 years. Traveled together, laughed together, cried together. Such a precious friend and precious memories.

I wish to express my great shock and sadness upon hearing of Paulette's passing. I know that Paulette will be sorely missed, not only for her knowledge and abilities, but also for the kind of person she was and how she lived her life. I want to convey my sincere condolences to Paulette's mother and sister and to her children who she loved so dearly. Her passing will not only leave a void in our lives but in the hearts of those who knew her. In my prayers, Barbara Blanc

I would like to give my condolences to the family and especially her sister Dorma & her mother. Paulette's death was so unexpected and a shock to us all. I would have loved to have had a long visit with her before she passed. I met Paulette in the early ninties where we belonged to a prayer group & busy with many Catholic functions. Later when she lived in Dumas she would occasionally come to Dallas & stay with me. We had a lot of laughs and tears together. She always had something interesting and good to tell me. She never minced words & had a great vocabulary. She had a special gift that I saw in her and that I believe was a "photographic memory." I knew that if I forgot something I could count on her to know the answer. Other friends thought the same way. It is painful to think I won't see or hear from her again on earth. She will always be in my prayers so she gets to see the Glory of Our Lord in Heaven soon, and again we will meet.

I am going to miss my sweet friend. I have so many memories of our time together in Pampa High School and in the years since we reconnected on FB. Paulette and I were not the greatest math students. One summer we went to summer school and then 2-3 times a week, we would go to our math tutor's home for help. I'm not sure the light bulb for math ever turned on for either of us. :) LOL! In recent years, we would meet up when Paulette came to Amarillo for doctors etc., and eat, go get pedicures or just sit and talk about the stuff going on in our lives. Prayers for comfort and peace for the family and friends. RIP Sweet Friend! I will see you again some day. Love you!
