Alfredo Venzor Estrada

Alfredo Venzor Estrada, 76 of Cactus, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o'clock in the morning on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Preacher Javier Palomarez, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o'clock in the evening on Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Alfredo was born on April 11, 1941 to Pedro Mendoza Venzor and Josefa Estrada in Chihuahua, MX. He married the love of his life, Maxine Alires; they were married for more than 50 years. Alfredo was a talented musician. He played the saxophone and was a member of the band Los Norteos de Chihuahua for over 20 years. He was known as being a hard worker and loved his RAM pickup. Alfredo was a member of 6th and Meredith Church of Christ. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. He is preceded death by his parents; sister: Socorro Loya; and granddaughter: Monica Magallanes. Alfredo is survived by his wife, Maxine of the home; daughters: Martha Magallanes and Josie Porras both of Cactus, Anna Maria Bueno of Las Vegas, Angelina Valdez of Pueblo, CO, Adela Ortega and husband Justo of Aurora, CO; brothers: Victoriano Venzor and wife Elvira and Armando Venzor and wife Imelda all of Cactus; sister: Antonia Venzor of Cactus; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
