Alma Rosa Rojo

Alma Rosa Rojo, 52 of Dalhart, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez as celebrant. Interment will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Wednesday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.

Alma was born on April 29, 1973, in Chihuahua, Mexico to Franscisco and Maria Andrea Rojo. She was united in marriage to Uriel Rubio on June 15, 2007, in Dumas, TX. Alma enjoyed cooking and working as a truck driver. She also had a fondness for animals and enjoyed her chickens, goats and her dogs. Above all she loved her grandchildren and spoiling them; she adored them. She was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus.

Alma is survived by her husband, Uriel Rubio of the home; three daughters, Carina Reyna and husband Guillermo of Dumas, Kristal Enriquez and husband Celso of Dumas, and Karen Borunda of Cactus; a son, Francisco Borunda of Dalhart; along with 2 grandchildren: Elias and Adriel; siblings: Imelda Rojo of NM, Irma Rojo of Chihuahua, MX, Sara Rojo of Chihuahua, MX, Fernando Rojo of Dalhart, TX and Cesar Ivan Rojo of Chihuahua, MX.

Alma Rosa Rojo, de 52 años, de Dalhart, falleció el sábado 23 de agosto de 2025. La misa fúnebre se celebrará a las 3 de la tarde del jueves 28 de agosto de 2025 en la Iglesia Católica de San Pedro y San Pablo con el Padre Luis López como celebrante. El entierro seguirá en Northlawn Memorial Gardens. El rosario se rezará a las 6 de la tarde del miércoles en Morrison Memorial Chapel. Los arreglos se confían a Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.

Alma nació el 29 de abril de 1973 en Chihuahua, México, hija de Franscisco y María Andrea Rojo. Se unió en matrimonio con Uriel Rubio el 15 de junio de 2007 en Dumas, TX. A Alma le gustaba cocinar y trabajar como camionera. También le gustaban los animales y disfrutaba de sus gallinas, cabras y perros. Sobre todo, amaba a sus nietos y los mimaba; ella los adoraba. Era miembro de la Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en Cactus.

A Alma le sobreviven su esposo, Uriel Rubio del hogar; tres hijas, Carina Reyna y su esposo Guillermo de Dumas, Kristal Enríquez y su esposo Celso de Dumas, y Karen Borunda de Cactus; un hijo, Francisco Borunda de Dalhart; junto con 2 nietos: Elías y Adriel; hermanos: Imelda Rojo de NM, Irma Rojo de Chihuahua, MX, Sara Rojo de Chihuahua, MX, Fernando Rojo de Dalhart, TX y César Iván Rojo de Chihuahua, MX.
