Andres Torres Flores, a devoted family man and respected member of the Dumas community, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026, in Amarillo, Texas. Born on March 25, 1958, in Plainview, Texas, Andres lived a life marked by dedication, love, and service to those around him.
Andres was lovingly married to Chasity Manning since September 16, 2005, in Dumas, Texas. Their marriage was a testament to their deep commitment and partnership, forming a cornerstone in his life. Andres worked diligently for Bice Construction for 12 years, where his hard work and reliability earned him great respect from colleagues and friends alike.
A man of many passions, Andres cherished his dogs and considered them his children. He found joy in gardening, watching WWE wrestling, and was an avid fan of the Denver Broncos. His faith was an essential part of his life, and he was an active member of the Christ Community Church of Dumas, where he shared his spirit and fellowship with many.
Andres is survived by his beloved wife, Chasity Flores, along with his siblings Ignatia Flores, Yolanda Flores, Annie Cobos, and Hector Flores. He was a loving father to Octabio (Tata) Longtime. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Though his parents, Andres Cruz Flores and Rosa Torres, as well as sisters Socorro Rios and Andrea Williams, and brothers John Flores, Daniel Flores, Mauricio Flores, and son Joshua Flores, preceded him in death, their memories continue to live on through the family and community he touched so deeply.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 6 o'clock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Christ Community Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Andres Torres Flores will be remembered with deep respect and affection by all who knew him. His legacy of love, faith, and dedication will continue to be a guiding light for his family and the community.
