Anibal Lee Valverde, 29 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026. The Holy Rosary will be prayed at 6 o’clock in the evening on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Anibal was born on April 15, 1997, in Dumas, TX to Lorenzo Valverde and Maria H. Machuca Quintana. He was raised in Dumas where he attended school and graduated from Dumas High School in 2015. Anibal enjoyed working out, singing, and was an animal lover. Above all, Anibal loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with his nephews. Anibal was of catholic faith and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Anibal was preceded in death by his grandparents: Feliciano and Eugenia Valverde and his stepfather Carlos Robles.

Anibal is survived by his parents: Maria H. Machuca Quintana of Dumas, TX and Lorenzo Valverde of Woodward, OK; siblings: Andrea Valverde of AZ, Sabrina Valverde and husband Esven Sauceda of Dumas, TX, Samantha Robles of Dumas, TX and Adrian Valverde of Dumas, TX; grandparents: Jesus Machuca and Maria Quintana; his nephews: Esven Sauceda Jr. and Baltazar Sauceda; godparent, Elodia Arroyos; along with his aunts, uncles and cousins.


Aníbal Lee Valverde, de 29 años, de Dumas, falleció el lunes 20 de julio de 2026. El Santo Rosario se rezará a las 6 de la tarde del viernes 24 de julio de 2026 en la Morrison Memorial Chapel. Se celebrará una misa de funeral cristiano a las 10 de la mañana del sábado 25 de julio de 2026 en la iglesia católica de San Pedro y San Pablo, con el padre Luis López como oficiante. El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio Dumas bajo la dirección de Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Aníbal nació el 15 de abril de 1997 en Dumas, TX, hijo de Lorenzo Valverde y Maria H. Machuca Quintana. Creció en Dumas, donde asistió a la escuela y se graduó en Dumas High School en 2015. Aníbal disfrutaba haciendo ejercicio, cantando y era un amante de los animales. Por encima de todo, Aníbal amaba a su familia y especialmente disfrutaba pasar tiempo con sus sobrinos. Aníbal era de fe católica y será profundamente echado de menos por todos los que le conocieron.
