Antonio Magallanes

Antonio Magallanes, 93 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Primera Iglesia Baustista with Rev. Jesus Rivera, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Antonio was born on February 26, 1924 in Guerrero, Chihuahua, MX to Jose and Leogarda (Marquez) Magallanes. He was a longtime resident of Dumas. On July 4, 1974, he was united in marriage to Carmen Benavides in Dumas. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson: Marcos Roberto Magallanes; and great-granddaughter: Genesis Averii Magallanes. Antonio is survived by her wife Carmen of the home; sons: Marco Antonio Magallanes and wife Vanessa of Lubbock, Jose Luis Magallanes of CA; daughter: Leticia Magallanes of Dallas; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
