Barbara Annette Daniels, a cherished member of the Dumas community and devoted matriarch, passed away on May 24, 2026, in Dumas, Texas. Born on March 17, 1941, in Plainview, Texas, to Charles and Clydie (Wylie) Robertson. Barbara led a life marked by resilience, loyalty, and grace.

Barbara was a proud graduate of Dumas High School, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with dedication to family and faith. Her journey through life saw her united in marriage three times, each union a chapter cherished in her story. In 1961, she married Jerry Belk, who preceded her in death, followed by her marriage to Billy Mitchell in 1968, and later to Danny Daniels in 1986, both of whom also preceded her in passing.

Throughout her life, Barbara was a homemaker, a bookkeeper, and a beacon of strength and loyalty to her children and grandchildren. She nurtured her family with a fierce devotion that was evident to all who knew her.

Barbara’s passion for gardening and tending to her yard was well known in her community, where she found joy and solace amidst nature’s beauty. Her life was not without its trials, but she faced every challenge with a dignity and grace that inspired those around her. She had attended First Baptist Church early in life and later attended the Church of the Nazarene with her family, her faith was a steadfast guide throughout her years.

Her survivors include her sons Dan Belk and wife Blanca of Amarillo, TX; John Belk and wife Jackie of Dumas, TX; stepson: Marte Mitchell and wife Fonda of Sunset, TX; and stepdaughter Brenda Mitchell of Sunset, TX. She is also survived by her stepdaughter Sue Robles and husband Joe of Carrizo Springs, TX; her sister Betty Sue Jones and husband Tommy of Booker, TX; and sisters-in-law Mary Robertson of Dumas, TX, and Kay Robertson of Great Creek, TX. Barbara’s legacy lives on through numerous grandchildren who will remember her warmth and strength.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Delbert Robertson and Donnie Robertson, stepson Monte Mitchell, and stepdaughters Carolyn Wynette Daniels and Denise Daniels.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steve Swanson, officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Barbara Annette Daniels will be remembered not only for the challenges she overcame but for the grace with which she met each day, and for the enduring love she leaves behind. Her spirit remains a guiding light for all who had the privilege of knowing her.
