Betty Loman Collier

Betty Loman Collier, 83 of Sunray passed away on Monday, June 6,2022. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Monday, June 13,2022, at Lane Memorial cemetery Sunray, Texas with Bruce Broxson, officiating. Betty will be available for viewing from 1 o'clock to 4 o'clock in the afternoon on Sunday at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Sunray. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Betty was born on October 30,1938, in Okmulgee, OK to Byrd and Verlie (Cole) Neill. At the age of 5, the family moved to Cactus and Betty attended school in Dumas where she graduated high school. She married the love of her life, Lloyd Loman on June 15, 1956 in Cactus TX; he preceded her in death in 1986. On January 6,1987, she married Jerry Collier in Clayton, NM; he preceded her in death in 2012. Betty worked for the Sunray School District as a secretary and later for Kerr McGee. She was a member of the Sunray Baptist Church. The most important thing to Betty was her family and their Love for one another. Grandma Betty was known for her "PawPaw" cookies, Mashed Potatoes and Giblet gravy, & Grandma Betty Spaghetti. She treasured the time she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren. She always wanted to be involved either by cooking, baking or just having the candy bowl full. She had the kindest, sweetest, most forgiving heart and Loved her family and was so proud of each one of them. She was our family's biggest Prayer warrior. She supported & cared deeply for each and every one of us.

In addition to her husbands, Lloyd Loman and Jerry Collier she was preceded in death by her parents; son: Doug Loman; sister: Barbara Blythe.

Betty is survived by her daughters: Kathy Lee and husband Terry, Brenda Emmert and husband Jeff all of Sunray, TX; daughter-in-law: Glenda Loman of Canyon, TX; grandchildren: Misti Turley and husband Troy of Sunray, TX, Andy Lee and wife Maranda of Amarillo, TX, Dusty Lee of Stratford, TX, Travis Lawler and wife Amber of Bushland, TX, Kelli Frock and husband Thomas of Canyon, TX, Jared Lawler of Sunray, TX, and Katie Winters and husband Timmy of Texhoma, OK; 11 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law: Don Blythe of Fritch, TX; sisters-in-laws: Anne Johnson of Lubbock, TX and Elsie Grimes of Guy, AR.
