Beverly Rentfro

Beverly Rentfro, 73, of Channing, died Thursday, November 9, 2006, in Amarillo. Services will be held Monday, November 13, 2006, at 2:00 PM in First Baptist Church of Channing with Glendell Smith, BSA Chaplain, officiating. Burial will follow in Channing Cemetery. Mrs. Rentfro was born January 24, 1933, in Pampa to Milton and Jewel Walker Henderson. On January 28, 1955, she married Jerry Rentfro in Amarillo. She had been a resident of Channing for 52 years and was a 50 year member of the First Baptist Church. She loved her bridge club and cherished her grandchildren and friends. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rentfro of the home; two sons, Jerry Don Rentfro and wife Deana of Dumas and Jim Rentfro and wife Jeanne of Channing; one sister, Betty Davis of Midwest City, OK; four grandchildren, Tara, T.J., Michael and Drew and three great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials to BSA Hospice, PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79105. The family will be at the Rentfro home 1 mile West of Channing.
