Billy Rexrode

Billy Rexrode, 83 of Sunray, passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2019. Memorial services are scheduled for 2 oclock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Sunray Church of Christ with Jonathan Zerby officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Billy was born on August 28, 1936 in Silverton, TX to Minor Lee and William Ottie (Hardy) Rexrode. Billy married Lorene Fisher on June 5, 1955 in Olton, TX; the couple had just celebrated 64 years of marriage. Billy was a third-generation farmer who was a very hard worker. He enjoyed farming and ranching his cattle and chickens. He also loved to hunt and enjoyed woodworking. Billy was a member of the Sunray Church of Christ and will be missed by his family and friends. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Don; sisters: Margaret and Ottie. Billy leaves behind his wife of 64 years, Lorene, of the home; daughters: Debora "Deb" Sutterfield and husband Mike of Chickasha, OK and Vikki Unsell and husband Jeff of Baytown, TX; sons: Rocky Rexrode and wife Beth of Sunray, TX and Ronny Rexrode and wife Tami of Forney, TX; grandchildren: Paul Sutterfield, Travis Sutterfield, Russell Rexrode, Amber Kimbrell, Cristy Stafford, Jayme Mayfield, Dallas Unsell, Taylor Rexrode and Kamryn Rexrode. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Digit Bible Camp, PO Box 81, Sunray, TX 79086.
