Bob Pollard

Bob Pollard, 83, of Dumas, died Tuesday, October 10, 2006, in Dumas. Services will be held Thursday, October 12, 2006, at 2:00 PM in Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Billy Pollard, nephew, officiating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Mr. Pollard was born May 30, 1923, in Slidell, TX, and had been a resident of Dumas since 1951. He married Janie Miranda on May 12, 1964, in Dumas. He was a batchman for Texas Concrete for 38 years, retiring in 1995. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survivors include his wife Janie Pollard; three daughters, Becky Rodriguez and husband Gabriel, Kay Sneller and husband David and Jackie Hayhurst and husband Kelly, all of Dumas; and three grandchildren, Chance, Gabby and Lane. The family suggests memorials to Memorial Hospice, 224 E Second, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 508 Melinda in Dumas.
