Bobby Wackler

Bobby Wackler, 35, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Dumas. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 15, 2009 at Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Jay McGaughy, pastor of the church, and Rev. John Wackler, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Texhoma, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Bobby Wackler was born June 10, 1973 in Litchfield, Minnesota to Bobby Emerson and Joyce Othon. He played football while in school and graduated from Dumas High School in 1992. Bobby was a supervisor in the tanning department at Swift Co. He had been a resident of Dumas and Moore County since 1974 and was a big fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Emerson; grandparents, Leonard and Mildred Haglund and Lonnie Bangs. Survivors include; his son, Benjamin Wackler of Dumas; his mother, Joyce Othon of Dassel, MN; sisters, Kathy Eavenson and husband Jack, Jackie Garcia and husband David, Michelle Watkins all of Dumas, Brenda Tiger and husband, Albert of Seminole, OK; brothers, Doug Wackler and wife, Deletta, Dennis Wackler and wife, Eva both of Dumas, 3 aunts, 2 uncles and several nieces and nephews. The family will be at 2115 E. 1st Street in Dumas.
