Briana Dawn Curran, 46 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock in the morning on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at Encounter Church with Pastor Frank Gordoa officiating. Interment will be held at Westlawn Memorial Park, 8745 HWY 136, Fritch Texas, following the service. The public is encouraged to come by the funeral home to sign the register book and pay their respects on Tuesday from 5 o'clock in the afternoon until 7 o'clock in the evening. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Briana Dawn Sheets Curran was born December 13, 1979, to Gary and Kathy Sheets in Borger, Texas. She graduated from Cornerstone Christian Academy in 1998 as valedictorian. She attended Faith Bible College in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada. She graduated college in 2002 and shortly after moved to Ireland. Bri and Anthony met the summer she moved to Ireland. Bri and Anthony married November 17, 2003, in Wexford, Ireland. They were blessed with two beautiful children. Their son, Samuel, was born in 2005, and their daughter Zoe arrived in 2007. In 2013, Briana, Anthony, Sam, and Zoe responded to God’s call and returned to Ireland to plant Life-House Church. They served there for the next 9 years. In 2022 they returned to the United States for a short time in Kentucky. In 2023 Bri and Anthony returned to Dumas to serve faithfully at Encounter Church as the lead pastors.

 Bri had a love for laughter, ministry, and loving on people. She’s an extraordinarily creative artist and talented musician.

She’s preceded in death by her mother Kathy Sheets and her father Gary Sheets. 

She’s survived by her husband Anthony Curran, her son Sam Curran, her daughter Zoe Curran, her brother Brady Sheets, and her sister Courtney Smith and husband Bo Smith, her niece Haley Sheets, her nephews Colby Sheets, Bodi Smith, and Barrett Smith. 

The family requests you wear bright colors to honor Bri’s life at the celebration service. Let us all be challenged on this day to live life the way she lived hers—with deepfaith, love, commitment, and a joyful overflowing spirit. Bri was a beloved daughter, sister, niece, wife, mom, aunt “Mia” and friend to everyone she met, and a part of J.U.G.S (Just us Girls).
