Candido Garcia, 84 of Cactus passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Luis Lopez, as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Candido was born on February 2, 1940 to Ricardo Garcia and Soledad Jacquez. He had been a resident of Dumas for the last 10 years. Candido worked as a farmer and rancher. He enjoyed watching tv. Candido was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Candido is survived by his children: Antonio Garcia and wife Rosa M. Garcia of Levelland, TX, Manuel Garcia and wife Juana of Oklahoma City, OK, Candido Garcia and wife Adriana of Littlefield, TX, Ricardo Garcia and wife Tina of Dumas, TX, Mario Garcia and wife Lourdes of Oklahoma City, OK, Gloria Garcia of Dumas, TX, Luis Raul Garcia and wife Manuela Murga of Cactus, TX, Rachel Garcia an husband Miguel of Oklahoma City, OK, Cinthia Garcia and husband Lorenzo Sandoval of Oklahoma City, OK; 40 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Cándido García, de 84 años, de Cactus, falleció el sábado 20 de julio de 2024. Se rezará un rosario a las 6 de la noche el martes 23 de julio de 204 en la Capilla Morrison Memorial. El miércoles 24 de julio de 2024, a las 11 de la mañana, se celebrará una misa fúnebre en la iglesia católica de San Pedro y San Pablo, con el padre Luis López como celebrante. El entierro seguirá en el cementerio Dumas bajo la dirección de Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Cándido nació el 2 de febrero de 1940, hijo de Ricardo García y Soledad Jacquez. Había sido residente de Dumas durante los últimos 10 años. Cándido trabajó como agricultor y ganadero. Le gustaba ver la televisión. Cándido era miembro de la Iglesia Católica de San Pedro y San Pablo.
