Charlie Vasquez, born on August 23, 1972, in Dumas, Texas, passed away on April 2, 2026, in Sunray, TX. Charlie was a man who lived life with passion and zest, a man who loved fast cars, thrilling drives, and the excitement of casino trips. Above all, however, his greatest joy came from the time spent with his beloved family. As an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, Charlie found joy in rooting for his team, sharing those moments with friends and family, adding to the tapestry of a life well-lived.
Charlie's life was marked by his deep love and devotion. On February 15, 2020, he married Rosa Irene Vasquez in Cactus, Texas, building a life filled with love and companionship alongside her.
Charlie’s legacy continues through his loving family. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Irene Vasquez; his children, Diana Cisneros and her husband Danny, Daniel Velador and his wife Tanya, Carlos Vasquez and his wife Erika, Juan Vasquez, Mario Vasquez, and Cheese Vasquez and his wife Brianna; and twelve adoring grandchildren who will carry forward his memory and spirit. Their love and respect for Carlos are a testament to the kind of man he was—a devoted family man whose heart was always with those he loved.
Friends and family are invited to honor Charlie’s memory and celebrate his life by attending the scheduled services. A Rosary will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 6 o'clock in the evening at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas, TX. The following day, a Mass will be celebrated in his honor on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, beginning at 10 o'clock in the morning at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus with Father Juan Carlos as celebrant.
