Carolina Miranda Ramos

Carolina Miranda Ramos, 73, formerly of Dumas, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, February 2, 2018 at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock in the evening on Thursday at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Carolina was born on April 16, 1944 in Asherton, TX to Nemorio and Dora Vasquez Miranda. She grew up in Asherton where she attended school. She was united in marriage to Robert Mickey Ramos on November 24, 1968 in Asherton, TX. The family would eventually move to Dumas where they raised their family. Carolina enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. She was a homemaker who had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Robert in 2014; sister: Teresa Garza; brothers: Salva Miranda, Oscar Miranda and Ray Miranda. She is survived by her son: Mike Ramos and wife Cherie of Amarillo; daughter: Diana Ramos of Guymon, OK; brother: Fred Miranda and wife Lydia of Asherton, TX; sister: Nora Garcia and husband John of Goodland, KS; grandchildren: Michael, Jerianna, Javen, Jerreth, Jerrin, Tay and Kalix.
