Carroll Lee Truitt

Carroll Lee Truitt, 68, died April 29, 2020 in Amarillo. Born Sept. 13, 1951, in Wister, Oklahoma, he loved all his family and loved to fish. His grandkids were special to him and he loved them very much. Carroll was preceded in death by his dad, Samuel, his mom, Thelma, and his sister, Carolyn. Also preceding him in death were his father-in-law, Arvil, and mother-in-law, Jeffie, and brother, Robert. He is survived by his wife, Sharon, of the home; daughter, Becky, of the home; son, Robert, and wife, Mysti, of Dumas; sisters Susie and Letha of Oklahoma; his grandkids Hailey, Hope, Kaitlynn, McKenzie, Jaiden, Joshua, Landen and Jaxon; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; and many nieces and nephews. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas, 2222 Welborn St., Dallas, TX 75219.
