Chelsea Christian Miller

Chelsea Christian Miller, 30 of Stratford, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017. The memorial service will be held at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at First Christian Church with Tommy Long officiating. Private family burial will be held in the Christian Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock in the evening on Monday at the funeral home. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Chelsea was born on January 22, 1987 in Amarillo to Max and Lori (Batis) Christian. She grew up in Stratford and graduated from Stratford High School. During her younger years, she enjoyed the stock show and loved showing her sheep. After high school she attended Amarillo College where she graduated with her associates degree in nursing. Chelsea had a deep passion for nursing and loved taking care of people. She also loved her family deeply, especially her children. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Stratford. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and love her. Chelsea is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Rex and Bernice Christian; and maternal grandfather Joe Batis. She is survived by her children: Aiden Miller and Lani Miller of the home; parents Max and Lori Christian of Stratford; brother Trevor Christian and wife Brittany of Stratford; granny Letha Batis of Stratford; uncle Steven Batis and Kim of Amarillo; numerous other extended family members. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Sherman County Livestock Association, Memorial Hospice or to Stratford Hospital District.

Max and Lori and family I did not know your daughter but I know she had to be special because of you two. May God bless you and your family and keep you in His hands. The days, months and years will be hard but you have 2 of her children to cherish.
