Christopher R. Switser

Christopher R. Switser, 52 formerly of Stratford, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Texhoma Church of Christ with Doug Morrow speaking. Burial will follow in the Texhoma Cemetery under the direction of Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Chris was born on November 3, 1971, in Guymon, OK to Larry and Kathryn (Harland) Switser.  He grew up in Stratford where he enjoyed going to church with his mother.  After the death of his mother, he moved to Lubbock to be closer to his family.

Chris was preceded in death by his parents.

Chris is survived by his siblings: Carrie Morrow and husband Doug of Lubbock, TX and Casey Switser of Lubbock, TX; nieces and nephews: Ian, Amber and Alyssa along with numerous aunts, uncles and other extended family members. 

The family suggests, with gratitude, in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Highpoint Village in Lubbock, TX.
