Cindy Ann Miller, 69 of Stratford, TX, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at First Methodist Church with Pastor Tommy Long, officiating. Interment will follow at Stratford Cemetery. Viewing will take place on Friday from 1 o’clock in the afternoon until 8 o’clock in the evening at the funeral home in Stratford. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening at the family home, 13920 County Road 7, Stratford, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.
Cindy was born on December 4, 1955, in Amarillo, TX to John R. and Pasty (Helm) Fraser. She grew up in Boydston where she worked on the family farm and ranch where she enjoyed riding horses and shooting trap with her Grandfather. Cindy graduated from Groom High School and on May 31, 1974, she married her high school sweetheart, Wesley Miller in Groom, TX and in 1979, they moved to Stratford where they made their home.
Cindy was very active in the community and served on numerous boards and committees including Stratford Area Foundation, Sherman County Appraisal District – Ag Advisory Committee, Stratford 4-H, Stratford Country Club Women’s Golf, Nu Beta Sorority, Sherman Co Arena and more. She enjoyed the outdoors including working in her yard and was an avid team roper winning numerous awards. Cindy had a fondness for animals especially her horses and dogs. She enjoyed fishing, shopping with friends and watching her children and grandchildren excel in the many activities they participated in.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Stratford.
She was preceded in death by her father; John R Fraser and son: T.J. Miller.
Cindy is survived by her husband Wesley of the home; daughter: Alicia Law and husband Dan of Stratford, TX, son: Mark Miller of Stratford, TX; mother: Patsy Fraser; grandchildren: Abby Law and fiancé Bo Williams, and Jay Law; siblings: Randy Fraser, Walter Fraser, Tricia Carson along with cousins, nieces and nephews.
