Connie Lynn Adams, 59 of Dumas passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Interment will be at 11 o’clock in the morning on Monday, January 24, 2022 at The Salem Church of God in Christ Mennonite in Copeland, KS. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening on Friday, January 21, 2021 at the funeral home.

Connie was born on November 11, 1962 in Kiowa, OK to Clarence and Wilma Ruth (Hart) Rylant as a twin to Kathy Jo. The family separated and she became a precious child of Abe and Lorene Nichols in March of 1966. Her first years of school was at Ingalls, KS thru 5th grade until they moved to their new home at Copeland in 1975 where she graduated from high school. After high school, she took CNA training and began her career helping others. She married Claude Adams on July 31, 1993 in Garden City, KS and the couple would eventually move to Dumas where they made their home. Connie was very active in Hospice as a volunteer, with Relay for Life and loved helping others. She was also very crafty and loved to make wreaths for her family and friends. Connie will be missed by all the folks she loved to visit with.

She was preceded in death her father; twin sister: Kathy Joe Koehn Amaro.

Connie is survived by her husband, Claude of the home; stepson: Jason Adams of Clyde, TX; step-daughter: Kimberly Adams; mother: Lorene Nichols of Montezuma, KS; sisters: Ruth Pittser and Charles Miller of Depew, OK, Leanne Dillon of Wichita, KS, Joyce Burk and J.D, of Geronimo, OK; numerous other extended family members.
