Darla Sue Anderson, 63 of Dumas, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022.  Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Monday, November 14, 2022, at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Fobbs, officiating. Interment will follow at Lane Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 o’clock to 5 o’clock at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Darla was born on December 30, 1958 in Dumas, TX to John Bailey and Jeanette (Lummus) Anderson. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1977 and managed Eastgate Brookhollow Apts for 20 years.

Darla loved to go to casinos, bingo and to gamble. She was fun-spirited who loved to give lipstick kisses. She was of Christian faith and will be dearly missed and loved by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Darla is survived by her siblings: Ray Anderson and wife Mary, Ramona Bradford and husband Howard, Karen Tate and husband Raymond all of Dumas, TX, Debbie Eslick and husband Dale of Spearman, TX, Connie Stewart and husband David of Las Cruces, NM, Jerry Aplin and wife Robin of Florida, Kenny Aplin and wife Kelly of Arkansas; aunts: Shirley Beard of Denison, TX, Jo Dunn of Hull, TX and Sarah Lummus of Amarillo, TX, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
