David Calvin

David Calvin, 66 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026.  No local services are scheduled at this time.  Cremation is under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

David was born on November 8, 1959, in Orange California to Fredric and Jeanette (Prather) Calvin.  He had worked as a machinist all over the United States until settling in Dumas four years ago with his wife Angelyn whom he married on December 11, 2014.  David was a simple man who most folks never quite understood.  He absolutely adored his children and was a member of First Street Church.

David was preceded in death by his mother and two brothers: Steve and Danny.

David is survived by his wife, Angelyn of the home; children: Miles Calvin and wife Hailey of Rancho Mission Viejo, CA, Logan Calvin and wife Zenia of Orange, CA, Cody Calvin and wife Elizabeth of Yorubaland, CA, Henry Calvin, Darlyn Calvin, and Harvey Calvin all of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: Payton, Morgan, Elliott, Asher, Karsyn and Cooper; his father: Fredric Calvin; sister: Shelly Calvin along with numerous other extended family members.
