David Scott Diseker, affectionately known as Scott, passed away at the age of 63 on July 15, 2026 in Dumas. A Graveside Service will be held at 10 o’clock in the morning on August 1, 2026 in Liberal Cemetery in Liberal, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson Morrison Funeral Directors.
A longtime resident of Shattuck, Oklahoma, Scott was born in 1963 in Wichita Falls, TX, to Tommye and Mary Diseker. Scott graduated from Amarillo High School in Amarillo, Texas, with the Class of 1982. He built a career in the oil and gas industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. During the last decade of his career, he worked as a truck driver for fluid hauling services, a job he took great pride in and performed with reliability and determination.
Above all else, Scott treasured his family, He was a devoted son, brother, uncle, and friend who loved his nieces and nephews dearly. He is survived by his parents, Tommye and Mary Diseker; his siblings, Kim Diseker, Jeff Diseker and wife Donna, Jason Diseker and wife Scarlet; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss his presence.
Scott enjoyed spending time with family and friends, creating lasting memories through simple moments together. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to lend a helping hand, always willing to help anyone at a moment’s notice. His kindness, generosity, and dependable nature earned him the respect and appreciation of everyone who knew him.
Scott will be remembered for his caring heart, unwavering willingness to serve others, and the love he shared with those closest to him. His legacy of compassion, hard work, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
