Dena Marie Stubbs

Dena Maria Stubbs, 63 of Fritch, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at Brown Memorial Cemetery in Sunray with Troy Albers pastor of the Church of Christ of Sunray. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Dena was born on July 15, 1958 to Marcus and Deloris (Popejoy) Stubbs in Dumas, TX. Dena grew up in Sunray, TX. When she was older, she moved to Amarillo and worked at Western Merchandisers where she met her two very best lifelong friends.  Dena’s passion was always cattle, she was a cattle clerk for multiple feed yards over the years, but she retired from Friona Industries. Dena lived in Limon, CO and worked for Cargill from 1995 to 2000. Dena loved to shop for antiques and fill her home with beautiful mirrors and collectibles from the past.

Dena is survived by Charlie Wilson, her loving partner and caregiver; daughters: Arizona Wood and Marie Padilla both of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: JackLynn Parrish, Spur Padilla, Jeremiah Padilla, Gage Parrish; brother: Dawson Stubbs and family and many friends.
