Dirk Dowda

Dirk Dowda - 54 passed away Tuesday, June 3, 2008 in Dumas, Texas. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Ulrey, pastor of First Baptist Church, Cactus-Etter, officiating. Dirk Dowda was born March 2, 1954 in West Helena, Arkansas to Van and Jessie Dowda. On March 15, 2005, in Dumas, Texas, he married Pamela Oldham. He was a welder. Dirk had been a resident of Dumas and Moore County for 35 years. Survivors include; his wife Pam of the home; daughter Heidi Thomas of Biloxi, Miss; son, Hunter Glover of Greenbrier, Ark; step-daughter, Corina Henry of Midland; step-son, Wesley Henry of Dumas; brother, Ron Dowda of San Antonio. The family will be at 1201 S. Klein in Dumas.
