Dorothy Dreier

Dorothy Dreier, 101, of Dumas, died Wednesday, August 23, 2006, in Dumas. Memorial services will he held Monday, August 28, 2006, at 2:00 PM in St. John's Lutheran Church, with Rev. Don Poole, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Dreier was born January 19, 1905, in Butler County, Iowa, to William and Elizabeth Martzahn Meyne. On November 28, 1929, she married Richard Dreier in Waverly, Iowa. She had been a Dumas resident since 1981. She was an elementary teacher in the public school system and taught private piano and organ lessons. She was preceded in death by her husband on January 5, 1990 and two daughters, Marilyn Mae McClelland on September 8, 1998 and Yvonne Elizabeth Dreier. Survivors include: one daughter: Evelyn Bose and husband, Howard of Dumas; four grandchildren: Jon, Debra, Craig and Mark and five great grandchildren. The family requests memorials to Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation, 302 E 2nd, Dumas, Texas 79029. The family will be at 209 Bradley.
