Edith Faye McGinnis

Edith McGinnis 90 Died September 26, 2006, in Katy, Texas Born January 7, 1916, in Fisher County, Texas and was a graduate of Roby High School and business college in Abilene, Texas. She moved to Dumas in 1944 and had been a member of First Baptist Church since moving to Dumas. Edith was a member of the senior choir, The Happy Timers, a volunteer for the Moore Co. Museum and enjoyed playing bridge. She is survived by son, Sid and wife, Elma McGinnis of Katy, TX; daughter Marsha and husband, Danny Keathley of Las Vegas, NV, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She married H.A. McGinnis in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1967. Services will be Saturday, at 11:00 AM, on September 30, 2006, at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Officiant is Rev.
