The son of Bill and Margie (Stark) Bryson, Eddie graduated from Stratford High School. On June 5, 1971, Eddie married Jeanie Naylor in Stratford, Texas. Together, they created a loving home, filling it with laughter, music, stories, and a welcoming spirit that drew friends and family together time and again.
Eddie’s hands were skilled, and his talents found a home in everything from farming, ranching, mechanics, woodworking, electrical and plumbing projects. He approached his work with a sense of purpose and pride, never shying away from a challenge or an opportunity to help someone in need.
Giving of himself was second nature for Eddie. He found meaning in supporting the Special Olympics, as well as following his grandkids to their athletic events, stock shows and such. He delighted in entertaining and was happiest when surrounded by a bustling house full of friends, family, and laughter. People gravitated to Eddie; he was exceptionally outgoing and made everyone feel at ease. He loved to cook, whether at home, a friend, or any community event. Eddie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
