Edward Lee Staton

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Lee Staton at Texoma Medical Center on Friday, February 12, 2021. Ed was in his 82nd year. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Edith Staton (nee Stice). Loving father of the late Donna (Glenn) Gray. He was the proud grandfather to Joseph (Jill) Siragusa III, Amber Siragusa and Austin Ranalletta and proud great-grandpa to Noel Watkins and Peter, Aurora and Taylor Siragusa. He was the son of the late Alfred Alvin Staton and Lora Lee (Maguire) Staton, predeceased by sister Geneva Fay (Staton) Howell, and brothers Donald Alvin Staton, James Douglas Staton, and Harold Dean Staton. He is survived by sister Ethelene (Staton) Price and brother Jerry Udell Staton. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and loved his country. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys and doted on his dogs. Ed was above all passionate and proud of all of his great-grandchildren. Family and friends may pay their respects at Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors, 1015 S Dumas Ave, Dumas TX on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 11 a.m. Funeral service will be held graveside in the Dumas Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations in memory of Ed may be made to the SPCA.
