Eileen C. Norris

Eileen C. Norris, 78, of Dumas died Tuesday, December 12, 2006, in Dumas. Services will be held Saturday, December 16, 2006, at 10:00 AM in St. Johns Lutheran Church with Rev. Don Poole, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Norris was born May 17, 1928, in Saskatchewan, Canada to Amos and Mona Alice Knapp Alam. On March 4, 1950, she married Jim Norris in Dakota City, NE. She had been a Dumas resident since 1976 and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Norris and one daughter, Pat Hart. Survivors include: one daughter, Barbra LaBour and husband, Brad of Atlanta, GA; four sons, Tracy Norris and wife, Linda of Gillette, WY, David Norris and wife, Hermelinda of Kennewick, WA, Tim Norris and Bob Norris and wife, Jodi all of Dumas, TX; two sisters, Fae Fleck of Odem, TX and June Choat of Austin, TX; eighteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. The family requests memorials to St. Johns Lutheran Church, 207 S. Meredith, Dumas, TX 79029 or Memorial Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund, 302 E 2nd, Dumas, TX 79029. The family will be at 305 Floyd in Dumas.
