Faydeene Rogers

Faydeene Rogers, 97 of Sunray passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026. Private family burial will be held under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Faydeene was born on August 24, 1928, in Wellington, TX to Bob and Rose Etta (Johnson) Watkins. On June 3, 1951, she married Tony D. Rogers, he preceded her in death. Faydeene attended West Texas State University and earned a bachelor’s in education. She was a teacher for 26 years. She loved to fill her time with family, cooking and sewing. Faydeene was a member of Sunray United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony and her parents; sisters: Marie (Pete) Miller and Wilma (Wiley) Reynolds.

Faydeene is survived by her son: Stephen Rogers (Glenda) of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter: Ivana Sonen (Adolfo) of Sunray, TX; grandchildren: Julia Burk (Bryce), Stephanie Willis, Joshua Sonen (Jamie); great-grandchildren: Reagan Willis, Jazmine Burk, and Jett Sonen.
