Feliciano Davila Sr.

Feliciano Escarcega Davila, Sr. 91 of Cactus passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. A Rosary will be recited at 6 o’clock in the evening on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Our Lady of Gudalupe Catholic Church in Cactus. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 o’clock noon on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Juan Carlos as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Feliciano, Sr. was also known as “Chano”, was born on February 13, 1934, in San Agustin, Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuela Escarcega and Bernardo Davila. He had been a member of the community since 1965. Feliciano, Sr. was united in marriage to Carmen Muñoz, they were married for 67 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. He adored his family and friends.

Feliciano, Sr. was the owner of the Cactus junkyard known as Davila and Sons. He was a very hard worker; he loved working at his junkyard, loved playing pool, going to the casino, traveling and was a big fan of the Texas Rangers. He also loved family gatherings. Feliciano was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus, TX. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by wife, Carmen Muñoz Davila, his parents: Manuela Escarcega Davila and Bernardo Davila; 4 brothers: Juan Barron, Jesus Barron, Lorenzo Davila, Manuel Davila, Sr.; 2 sisters: Julia Flores and Esperanza Barron; 1 great grandson: Felix Xavier Huerta.

Feliciano, Sr. is survived by his two sons: Feliciano Davila, Jr. and wife Guadalupe of McKinney, TX, Xavier Davila and wife Andrea of Keller, TX; 4 daughters: Susie Davila Pearson and husband Marvin of Amarillo, TX, Maria Davila Garcia and partner Laurinda of Amarillo, TX, Leticia Davila of Las Vegas, NV, and Estela Davila of San Angelo, TX; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
