Frances Taylor

On March 3, 2024 Frances L. Taylor passed through the pearly gates, racing on the street of gold into the arms of Jesus. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rich Harmsen, her son in law, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. 

Frances was born on June 8, 1931, in Amarillo, TX to Clint and Mildred (Lee) Freeman. She was united in marriage to Hoyt Taylor on August 7, 1949 in White Deer, TX. Frances loved people. She served Christ many years in children’s ministry and nursery where she rocked and loved on children. She was a missionary to the Lau People. Frances put many miles in her car driving people to appointments in Amarillo.  After her move to Ft. Worth, she became part of a telephone ministry to shut in’s. Frances also loved to pick up the VOA girls and take them to church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt Taylor, daughter: Debbie Forester; granddaughter: Rebecca Forester; brother and wife: Sonny and Doris Freeman.

Frances is survived by son-in-law: Pete Forester and family: Shannon, Roger, Brooke, Briana, Jennifer, Matt, Timothy and Rabeka; son: Andy Taylor and family: Jeff, Tricia, Zach, Morgan and Tate; daughter: Cindy Walton and family: Ronnie, Randi, Allison, Randy, Jonathan and Michael; daughter: Tammy and Rich Harmsen and family: Brent, Connor, Ashley, Katelyn, Brady, Corbin and Briggs; daughter: Christi and Craig Babbs and family: Gracie and Race; “her mine children” Ginger Ball and Sherrie Malakowsky and their families; sister: Betty and Tim Timons and family, Mary and Bob Trent and family, Pat and Rick Lowe and family; brother: C.W. and Diane Freeman and family; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
