Gary Ray Grice

Gary Ray Grice, 70 of Dumas passed away on Friday December 8, 2023. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 10 o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at First Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Price, officiating. Private family interment will follow at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Gary was born on July 25, 1953, in Huntsville, AL to Wilton “Willie” and Phoebe (Barnum) Grice. The family moved to Dumas where Gary attended school and graduated from Dumas High School in 1971.  He went on to work as a respiratory therapist.  Gary was a very talented musician who was known for his ability to play the guitar.  He was also an outdoorsman and attended First Baptist Church in Dumas.

He was preceded in death by his sister Fonda and his father Willie Grice.

Gary is survived by his daughter: Angela Smith and husband Jason of San Angelo, TX; sons: Greg Grice and wife Misti of Amarillo, TX and Tim Grice of Amarillo, TX; mother: Phoebe Grice of Dumas, TX; sister: Ronda and husband Jimmy of Greenville, TX; brother: Brad and wife Maggie of Amarillo, TX; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
