Gary Waite

Gary Arthur Waite, 62 formerly of Dumas, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 11 oclock in the morning on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Dumas Cemetery with Grady Burkhalter, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Gary was born September 19, 1957 in Dumas, TX to Shirley and Ruby (Robertson) Waite. He developed a strong work ethic and started out shining shoes for the Demon Barber Shop. Gary had a salesmans heart and was a dedicated car salesman. He worked very hard and put up a brave fight over his illness. Gary was a Christian man who loved his family and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Larry Waite. Gary is survived by his children: Jason Waite and Justin Waite and wife Gretel all of Paris, TX; sister: Shirley Foulk of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: JJ, Travis, and Olivia Waite all of Paris, TX; ex-wife: Rose Waite of Paris, TX; nieces: Jennifer Nutter, Ashley, and Stephanie.
