George Frederick Forman

George Frederick Forman, 68 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. George was born on November 2, 1948 in Wagner, SD to Frank and Elizabeth (Frederick) Forman. He was a resident of the community for over 27 years. George honorably served his country in the US navy from June 1968 to February 1972. He loved activities such as fishing, bingo, and hunting. George especially loved cooking for his family. He was of Christian Faith and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, and brother: John Francis Forman. George is survived by his daughters: Jessica Forman and fianc J.R. Torres and Veronica Forman all of Dumas; sons: James Forman of Dumas and George Forman, Jr. of Kokomo, IN; brothers: Frank E. Forman of Dakota City, NE and James M. Forman of Wagner, SD; sisters: Janice N Lopez of South Sioux City, NE and Patricia A. Lopez of Edinburg, TX; and numerous grandchildren and other family members.
