Gretchen Ann Houser

Gretchen Ann Houser, 47 of Sunray, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Gretchen was born October 13, 1975, in Pontiac, MI to Mary and Carl Blauman.  Gretchen loved her job as a caregiver and dedicated her life to Mitch and Dottie who became like family. Gretchen’s tender heart adored spending time with her granddaughter and daughters. Her favorite destination to travel was Red River, NM during the summer to enjoy nature’s backyard. On her free time, she would often watch movies and talk on the phone with Ken. Gretchen was a giving mother, friend, and grandmother who devoted her life to caring for others. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.

Gretchen is survived by daughters: Emily Marble and wife Susanah Marble and Robin Parsons; granddaughter, Naomi Houser; mother, Mary Blauman; father, Carl Blauman III; sister, Michelle Wolfe; niece, Shannon Wolfe; nephew, Thomas Wolfe; niece, Shelby Wolfe; niece, Taylor Wolfe; ex-husband Jeff Houser; ex husband Wayne Parsons Jr. and wife Deb, and other extended family members.

Gretchen is proceeded in death by her brother, Carl Thomas Blauman IV; brother-in-law, Michael Wolfe; uncle, Tim Shaughnessy.

The family would like to express their love to Mitch Taylor and all the Taylor family for many years of love and support.
