Harlan Ralph Getman, 92 of Dumas passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, February 20, 2026, at Morrison Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Tubbs, officiating. Interment will follow at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 o’clock to 7 o’clock in the evening on Thursday at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Harlan was born on October 5, 1933, in Amarillo, TX to Clarence L. and Leah Gladys (Crawford) Getman. After school, he enlisted in the U. S. Navy where he served honorably. Harlan met and on January 30, 1955, married Corinne Maloney. They moved to Dumas in 1980, where he worked for the family construction company for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and enjoyed going on several mission trips to Russia and Brazil.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Corrine; brothers: Donald Getman, Frank Getman, Earl Getman, and Raymond Getman; sister: Leah Dell Reynolds.

Harlan is survived his children: Belinda Wilson of Allen, TX, James Getman of Clayton, NM, Melody Trick and husband Joe of Arlington, TX, Rex Getman of Dumas, TX, and April Dillow and husband Chuck of Giddings, TX.; brother: Clarence Getman and wife Dorothie of Dumas, TX; grandchildren: James Arvid Wilson, Ashley Brooke Barr, James Harlan Paul Getman and wife Tamara Lynn Getman, Michelle Lynn Getman, Dedra Hampton, Kerry Hampton, Joseph Hampton and Corbin Gray Dillow, great grandchildren: Grayson Barr, Brodie Rebel Cooper, Alyssa Marie Getman, Kody James, Edward Getman, Emmalee’s Vandergriff, Jarrod Ray Lee Getman, Zain James Robins, Corrine Symphony Lynn Getman, Garrett Johnson, Jace Johnson, Steven Hampton, Harlen Hampton and Jordan Tagg; great great-grandchildren: Chamberlain Scogins, Korean Lewis and Kamryn Ballow along with numerous other extended family members.
