Hector Bernal

Hector Bernal, 66 of Amarillo passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2020. The rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 oclock in the morning on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors. Hector was born on June 22, 1954 in Pearsall, TX to Pablo and Reymunda (Trujillo) Bernal. He was united in marriage to Debra Goodrich on July 4, 2013 in Amarillo, TX. He was employed at Conoco Phillips for 46 years and Scout Energy for 4 years. He was a hard worker and very dedicated to his company. He loved dancing and enjoyed Tejano Music. Hector truly had a kind heart and was a very loving man. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Hector was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Maria Paula Hernandez. Hector is survived by his wife Debra Goodrich of the home; sons: Albert Bernal of Amarillo; Christopher and wife Michelle Bernal of Amarillo; grandchildren: Elida Bernal; Christopher Jr. Bernal; Ashton Bernal; Jonathan Bernal; siblings: Yolanda L.
