Herlinda De La Pena Soto

Herlinda De La Pena Soto, 86 of Cactus, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. A Rosary will be recited at 6 oclock in the evening on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Morrison Memorial Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 oclock in the afternoon on Friday, October 18, 2019 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cactus with Father Christopher Schwind as celebrant. Interment will follow at Dumas Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. Herlinda was born on April 8, 1933 in Mexico to Martin and Juana (Soto) De La Pena. Herlinda was a true homemaker who loved to sew, cook and even wash the dishes. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cactus. Herlinda will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Herlinda is survived by her daughter Rosalinda Jacoba and husband Leonardo of Cactus; grandchildren: Claudia Duran and husband Gerardo Castillo, Anna Karen Duran and husband Sergio Alvarez, and Jose Carlos Jacobo.; great grandchild: Gerardo Castillo Jr.
