Jacqueline 'Momma Jack' Morris, 65 of Dumas, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11 o'clock in the morning on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Temple Baptist Church with pastor Chris Fobbs, pastor of the church, officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Morrison Funeral Directors. Jackie was born on November 30, 1952 in Lake Charles, LA to Arthur Sr. and Betty Ruth (Ard) Husser, She graduated from Arlington Baptist College with a bachelor's degree. She was united in marriage to Allen Morris on June 9, 1992 in Dumas, TX; he preceded her in death in 2010. Jackie and Allen had a love for motorcycles and she was known as 'Momma Jack' on the CB. Jackie was a longtime member of the Temple Baptist Church and loved her church family dearly. Jackie had a special place in her heart for children which was very evident in her life. She drove the bus to give children a ride to church and had just recently returned from a mission trip to Africa to give herself to those in need. Jackie will be deeply missed by her family, church family and everyone who called her a friend. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her father; by her sister: Pollyann Reed. Jackie is survived by her children: Warren Brown and wife Erika of Loranger, LA, Chief MSG (Ret) Melody Jenson and husband SFC Darren Jensen of Southern Pines, NC, Nick Morris and wife Carmen of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mary Morris of Amarillo, TX; grandchildren: Skyler Brown and wife Miranda of Elk City, OK, Konner Brown of Loranger, LA, and Lily Rose Morris of Colorado Springs, CO; her mother: Betty Ruth Reed; brothers: Arthur Husser, Jr. of Oden, AR, Alan Husser and wife Iris of Heavener, OK, and Don Husser and wife Lisa of Madison, AL; sisters: Lisa Tillery of Ft. Smith; and great grandchildren: Hagen and Averie. The family suggests with gratitude that memorials be made to Temple Baptist Church, 311 N Maddox, Dumas TX 79029.
