Jacquelyn Jackie Lopez 16 passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007. Rosary will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, July 4, 2007 at Morrison Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM,Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Juan Albaladejo, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Dumas Cemetery. Jacquelyn Jackie Lopez was born August 26, 1990 in Dumas, Texas. She played softball and would have been a senior this fall at Dumas High School. Jackie was a lifetime resident of Dumas and a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was a loving aunt to her nephew Dominic Quiroga. She lit up our lives with her smile and her laugh. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her Grandfather, Pete Godinez, uncle, John Godinez, and aunt, Nancy Godinez. Survivors include: parents, Cathy and Mike Marsh of Dumas and Fidel and Heather Lopez of Bountiful, Utah; five sisters Tami Lopez of Amarillo, Rashonda Lopez, Micaela Lopez both of Dumas, Jade Lopez, Shea Lopez both of Bountiful, Utah; brother, Spencer Lopez of Bountiful, Utah; grandparents, Carole Godinez and Red Starkey and Fidel and Rosa Lopez all of Dumas. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, PO Box 59433, Amarillo, TX. 79159. The family will be at 615 Elm in Dumas.
