Jaime Eleazar Borunda, Sr.

Jaime Eleazar Borunda Sr.,52 of Sunray, passed away on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 in the morning on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Gabriel Garcia as celebrant. Interment will follow in Brown Memorial Cemetery in Sunray under the direction of Morrison Funeral Directors. The rosary will be recited at 6:30 in the evening on Friday at Morrison Memorial Chapel in Dumas. Jaime was born on October 16, 1966 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Arnulfo Sr. and Julieta Menchaca Borunda. He married Martha Hernandez on December 31, 1993 in Mexico. Jaime will be remembered for his hard work ethic and always took excellent care of his things. He had a very caring heart and would help anyone in need. Jaime was an excellent husband, father, brother and son who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Jaime was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Jaime is survived by his wife Martha Borunda of the home; son: Jaime Borunda Jr. and wife Irasema Soto of Sunray, TX; daughters: Estefania Borunda of Sunray, TX and Alexa Mauricio; parents: Arnulfo Sr. and wife Julieta Borunda of Sunray, TX; sisters: Julieta Fierro and husband Ernesto of Sunray, TX, Teresa Lechuga and husband Luciano of Sunray, TX; Blanca Prieto and husband Victor of Midland, TX, Silvia Mendoza and husband Jubentino of Etter, tX; Bernardo Borunda and wife Martha of Sunray, TX, Arnulfo Borunda Jr., and wife Leticia of Sunray, TX and Timothy Borunda and wife Reyna of Midland, TX; one grandchild: Iverlie Borunda.
