Janie Erb

Janie Erb, 74 of Dumas, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025. Graveside services are scheduled for 4 o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Dumas Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Widener officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Beeson ~ Morrison Funeral Directors.

Janie was born on February 18, 1951, in Webb City, MO to Odes and Helen (Davidson) Rush. In her younger years, she worked in restaurant management. She moved to Dumas in 2016 to be with her son Bruce and granddaughter Victoria. Janie enjoyed reading and doing plastic canvas needlework. She was of Christian faith.

Janie is preceded in death by her parents, son Bruce Holden; daughter Brandy Holden and five brothers and two sisters.

Janie is survived by her son: John Holden and wife Ann of Joplin, MO; daughter: Jody Jensen and husband Brad of Springfield, MO; 9 grandchildren, including Victoria Holden, that Nana raised; brother: Otis Rush and wife Patty of San Angelo, TX along with numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
